Toothpaste Bits

Bite, brush, and smile. It’s really that simple. Your teeth and the earth will look great as a result. 

So, why switch the type of tooth"paste" you use? What’s the big deal? 

Well, over 1 BILLION plastic toothpaste tubes are thrown away EACH YEAR, leaving harmful chemical residues in the land that they're dumped or thrown onto. The visual of all those toothpaste tubes is more than 50 Empire State Buildings worth of tubes ending up in landfills and oceans EACH YEAR. 

Bonkers, I know. And, these plastic tubes are being sent to landfills and finding their way into the ocean - which means they're also breaking down into harmfill chemical products like microplastics, that are then cycled throughout the environment (in the soil, water, air, fish, etc.), and ultimately coming back into our bodies as we eat and breathe these microparticles in. Can you say ew? 

So, why NOT make the tooth"paste" switch? You have nothing to lose and a beautiful, healthy planet and environment to gain.
